ALL NMBDR VOLUNTEERS - WE NEED YOU!!!!!
Due to wildfires, excessive snow and other disasters in Region 1, and our neighboring TX, we need our NMBDR volunteers!!!!
Please respond by clicking the link below to help finish the 81 jobs remaining to be done in Roswell and Dexter.
We have over 307 badged volunteers in New Mexico. Now is the time for those of you who can't go out of state for long periods of time to help your neighbors.
Our cleanup efforts will have to end on November 23.
This will not interfere with the Thanksgiving Holiday.

We need:
Cleanup Volunteers starting 11/11 through 11/23.
Logistical support to help break down, service and transport equipment to various places around the state.
Feeding and Shower/Laundry is covered, thanks to our loyal NMBDR volunteers and the local churches in Roswell who have been supplementing our own NMBDR volunteers.

FBC Roswell has very graciously provided space for our volunteers to check-in and be housed and fed.
The Church is located at 500 N Pennsylvania Ave.

NOW WE NEED YOU!

Please pray about how God will use you to shine His light in the lives of these who have endured so much.  Please let us know of your availability by clicking on the link below.  If you recently posted your availability you only need to update it if there is a change.

Thank you for your faithfulness in serving others for the cause of Christ. â€‹â€‹

If you cannot deploy you can still serve by PRAYING AND DONATING to support NMBDR activities. It has been a very active year for disasters and our coffers are bare. NMBDR is funded by donations, not from the Cooperative Program.

In the last year we have:

  1. Flown 3 teams (20 volunteers to Maui after wildfires devastated the Island.

  2. Sent a cleanup team and equipment to Canadian, TX in response to the Panhandle Wildfires.

  3. Sent teams to Cold Spring, TX to do cleanup and manage the Region1 response after major flood damage.

  4. Sent a cleanup team to Claremore, OK after EF3 tornadoes ripped apart communities.

  5. We housed, fed, and provided fuel, equipment, and supplies for teams from NM, TX, OK, HI, AZ, & CA, for 3 long months (June, July & August) after wildfires once again caused major damage and loss of homes in Ruidoso, and then floods damaged more homes.

  6. Sent a cleanup team to Morgan City, LA after Hurricane Francine downed trees.

  7. In October, we flew two cleanup teams and Incident Management volunteers to Florida and North Carolina folllowing Huricane Helene.

  8. On October 20th, while our volunteers were still in Florida and North Carolina, our own Roswell experienced a 100 year flood that destroyed homes and belongings.  We have been feeding and supporting volunteers from NM, AZ, OK, TX, CA, and CO.

While we are a volunteer ministry our responses are not without considerable cost, especially this year.
